Brave Täby Tigers cannot deny VRS - Rugby's first TEST

VRS-RUGBY 135 - Täby Tigers 15

Tiger’s courage was not enough to prevent VRS - RUGBY winning the first TEST and completing their third phase in TOUCH 7 - a side at NÄG yesterday.

The scoreline did not reflect just how hard Täby Tigers pushed the VRG - RUGBY, but poor discipline at critical stages and missed opportunities again proved costly.

Täby Tigers had four players and they have to play mixture - which meant that they played half the match with only 4 men on the own play on the pitch . They were down to 3 men for almost six minutes in the first half when VRS - RUGBY started to play fast play in a very quick succession.

Despite that handicap, Täby Tigers stuck to their task gamely and rattled the VRS -RUGBY with their forward aggression and committed defence in the first half.

Had they managed to turn a superb attack, sparked by their own center who caught the kick-off at the start of the second half, and splendidly sustained by our full back, into a try Täby Tigers might have ended a run of hundred straight defeats by the VRS - RUGBY.

HARD DEFENSE ITS THE KEY...

But VRS -RUGBY tap-tackled in full flow and they managed to man the barricades for long enough to deny T Tigers the try.

Instead Tigers lost some of their shape after 10 minutes in the second half and VRS - RUGBY sealed victory with 14 well-taken tries in the final 15 minutes.

it was a fantastic finish after Rugby days to decide with a touch-match! all did there best to solve various Rugby situations in sport, well done guys! Again we had the weather with us and you had all the energy in each attack or defenses situation...

Today we test, tag-rugby. touch, kick, drop kick, tackling drill so well done! Tomorrow, unfortunately, is the last day of instruction and rugby, we will use the entire session to play and I want you to use all these "rugby-keys" you received from us...
