hello there RUGGERS ARROFF!
we'll speed and we'll play and trining speed the next 2two weeks...
as you see I'll always carried two spare rugby balls during training. If I'am think the ball was too slow from a breakdown I'would throw the half back a new one.
This kept a high tempo to the practice and meant the players had to think quicker, react quicker and perform quicker.
Next monday I'll carry a spare ball with me and at any time I'll shout "NEW BALL" and throw it into play.
The players have to recover the new ball and react to the new situation.
It's also a great way of practising turnover ball. During a game pass the new ball to the defending team and see how the teams react.
you play good and fast and the next week must be quicker and we will be there!
please; do not forget>>> our monday lunch, "bring a friend with you"!
have a superb week end!
ta!
.
regards from the Coach ;-D
